Clay County Trails Maintenance Smithville Lake

Seeking candidates for this seasonal position which usually lasts thru October/November - depending on the weather

The purpose of this position is to provide:

• Care and maintenance of the park walking and bike trails system
• Involves mowing and trimming
• Litter and trash removal
• Operating trucks, mowers, string trimmers, hand tools and grounds equipment as necessary to maintain trails and works with other crews as required
• Must be willing to work flexible schedule including weekends/holidays and evenings
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be legally licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle and the ability tot drive a motor vehicle under normal and emergencey response situations and have knowledge of safe and proper use of equipment
